Lady Marigot

​After walking down the Pink Castle's bougainvillea draped driveway, enter into the main tower - a circular foyer which leads to an expansive living room & spacious deck overlooking Marigot Bay & the Caribbean Sea. The deck & stairs loop down & around the ocean-side of the villa. To the right of the foyer is a dining area & fully-equipped kitchen. To the left of the foyer is a bathroom, stairs down to the second level, and a master suite with a King bed, a walk-in closet, a walk-in shower, a private deck & seating, indoor reading area, a second bathroom, and a beautiful steep & slanting mahogany ceiling. Second tower is attached beyond the master bedroom & is an elevator.

Downstairs on the second level are three state-rooms with queen-sized beds & a shared, shaded deck. Fourth room has a twin bed & full-sized bed (bunked). Two bathrooms with showers. Hallway to bedrooms has a semicircular indentation in the wall with a circular wooden table - perfect for coffee or cards! Second level also has an open-aired / screened bar-room.

Third level is an immense outdoor patio area with an outdoor living room, extra large wooden dining table, & ample space for  an assortment of games (cornhole, kanjam, spikeball, etc.). A stone-pathway goes past the deck - one end leads to a stone garden area, surrounded by fruit trees & flowers; the other way leads past the poolroom with a bathroom & shower and up to a workout-room with a bike, rowing machine, & fusbol. Down a short set of stairs is the pool area - cute peanut-shaped pool is 14" deep with numerous pool games & a diving board. Around it are 8 chaises, a loveseat, a glass table, & chairs.

 

Below deck is a spacious apartment with an open kitchen & living room, full bathroom with shower & separate master tub, a master suite with a California King bed & an additional room with two twin beds. Secluded patio area outside.

Grounds extend further down with a hedged lawn area which is great for yoga - mats included!

Property has an array of tropical flowers, trees, & many many hummingbirds which absolutely love our potted plants - watch as the two emerald-colored-kinds race from the lower patio up to the maindeck! Fruit trees include banana, coconut, avocado (3x), soursop, guava, sour orange, grapefruit, papaya, breadfruit, lime, plum, passionfruit & more! Available to enjoy in-season. Enjoy the many tropical flowers we are certain you have not seen all of! (or enough!)

 

Gardens & grounds have been cultivated for over 20 years. Scenery from every inch of property is picturesque with numerous locations to lounge. On one of many clear Caribbean days, Martinique can easily be seen to the north.

Grounds manager Mike lives in an apartment off to the side & separate from the main villa & guest apartment. Mike is on call and available to drive you anywhere across the island. House includes cleaning staff of two. Chef George available to cook in evening.
